December Letter from Dr. J

Hi, Awesome Intuitiv Team!

I have been working on an interesting theory lately.

Through my clinical experience in private practice, as well as through my experience in Major League Baseball, The National Hockey League, The LPGA, The PGA and NCAA athletics, and private practice, I have witnessed a dual-sided phenomenon.

I have repeatedly noticed throughout 2020 and 2021, entering into 2022, that in general, many people are both neurologically dulled and hyperstimulated at the same time.

Due to the demands and stress of the pandemic, as well as the continual onslaught of challenging news, social isolation and disconnect, intensified amounts of computer exposure, social media participation, and zoom related calls and activity, I have found that so many people are reporting both that they have lost their “spark” and their ability to generate massive amounts of energy and motivation. At the same time, people feel so much weight and background concern and overload, they report feeling neurologically frazzled, frayed, irritated, raw, scattered, dysregulated, and often locked in a fight or flight response of reactivity.

I have been thinking deeply about how we can help these people and just about everyone we meet increase their overall quality of life. Here is what I definitely know for sure:

If we can help people feel rested, and also help them feel mentally clear, the fog can begin to lift.

When your nervous system is on overload, it is hard to wind down naturally, and fall into a deep and restful state of rest.

In addition, when we feel irritated and not centered, it is hard to wake up feeling renewed, refreshed and filled with optimism and possibility.

Furthermore, if we feel dulled, flat, mentally slow, fatigued or unclear, it is hard to access the needed energy, motivation and innovation to thrive and be present and available for the ones we love and the ones we serve with and or work with, as well.

Enter our two-part strategy, Good Night and Get Clear. Both formulas work together to allow you to rest deeply at night and remain quick and sharp during the day.

Now that is a holiday gift worth giving!

With sincere gratitude,

Dr. J
